Who can join?
Membership is open to all undergraduates and graduate students of the University of Pennsylvania.
what does membership entail?
Being a member of the Polybian Society means that you desire to actively engage in discussion with other students on a fairly regular basis. Members may vote in Society members, run for leadership positions, and participate in members-only events held a couple times each month
is membership selective?
The Polybian Society is open to any interested individual that meets our membership requirements. As such, the Society is 100% inclusive. Those that wish to become members should follow the instructions below to find out how to begin the membership process. There is no hazing involved in our induction process
how do i become a member?
First, it is highly recommended that you attend some of our events before beginning the membership process. To begin the process, simply fill out the membership interest form. After doing so, we will contact you with how to proceed in the membership process! As the Society is an open Society, all those who are interested in joining the Society will be admitted as long as the fulfill all steps of the initiation process.

The Polybian Society, founded in 2013 as a branch of the Government and Politics Association, is the only non-partisan intellectual political society at Penn. The Society exists for all those who are excited to deeply engage with others interested in politics, philosophy, and current events.
